Welcome

Afasic is the UK charity representing children and young adults with communication impairments working for their inclusion in society and supporting their parents and carers. Such difficulties can have a devastating effect on their educational progress and in developing their social relationships.

Oxfordshire Afasic is a group representing their interests locally and also providing support for parents and carers.

We meet bi-monthly alternating between social meetings and presentations from professionals (eg. speech therapists and educational psychologists). We also plan social events for the children.
